Here at Clementine, comestible means delicious treats such as dressings, sauces, pickled vegetables & salads, compotes, jams & syrups.
We celebrate the seasonal bounty Maryland has to offer and feature those items throughout the year. If it's fresh and simple in the summer or our own canned delicacies in the winter, we'll never offer produce that is not up to our standards of quality.
We make our tomato onion jam when tomatoes are at their peak, and preserve figs from our own neighborhood gardens. Our pear marmalade is made with sage and our cherry ginger jam features a bit of whiskey. In other words, our stuff is unique and unexpected, it is not overly sweet or artificial.
We also make our own hot sauces, herbal emulsions for soups, remoulades and mustards. We aren't bottling and canning for purchase just yet but it is on our list. For now, we hope you'll enjoy these comestibles on the menu and in your belly.
